DISCOVER

A conceptual hypercar where heritage meets contemporary performance. Lyra transforms cinematic character and high-speed dynamics into a fluid, aerodynamic sculpture—balancing Aston Martin’s timeless identity with a bold vision of the future.
Project Lyra is a study in controlled aggression, fluid geometry, and purposeful performance, developed to embody the spirit of resilience while pushing Aston Martin’s visual language toward a new contemporary horizon.
DEFINE

The goal was to translate the resilience and dynamic character of its cinematic inspiration into a contemporary hypercar form, while preserving the sophistication of Aston Martin’s visual identity.
The concept focuses on fluid geometry, aerodynamic efficiency, and expressive proportions, transforming the inspiration into a functional body architecture rather than a literal interpretation. The aim is to create a hypercar that communicates speed, resilience, and adaptability through every surface and transition.
DESIGN

The design exploration focused on establishing Lyra’s distinctive hypercar identity through a combination of low proportions, sharp aerodynamic surfaces, and flowing body lines.
The sketches explore the front, side, rear, and three-quarter views to develop a cohesive form. Key elements such as the L-shaped headlights, wing-shaped LED taillights, roof intake, triple aero vents, rear air ducts, active front wings, and rear spoiler were introduced to strengthen both the visual character and aerodynamic intent of the vehicle.
DELIVER

The final design presents Lyra as a bold exploration of what a future Aston Martin hypercar could become—more experimental in form, yet disciplined in execution.
Lyra culminates in a sculptural hypercar defined by its dramatic proportions, tightly controlled surfaces, and distinctive rear architecture. The body is shaped around a strong visual tension between smooth volumes and exposed technical elements, giving the vehicle a sense of precision and mechanical depth.
